About the Role

We're looking for a DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to help us build and scale the platform that Lit8 runs on. You'll own our cloud infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and observability stack — making sure our systems are reliable, secure, and easy for developers to work with.

What You'll Do

  • Design and maintain cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform
  • Build and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast, safe deployments
  • Manage container orchestration (ECS, exploring Kubernetes)
  • Set up and tune monitoring, alerting, and logging (Datadog, CloudWatch)
  • Implement security best practices across infrastructure and access management
  • Work with backend engineers to optimize database performance and reliability
  • Document infrastructure decisions and runbooks for the team

What We're Looking For

  • 3-7 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or infrastructure engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS services
  • Proficiency with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform strongly preferred)
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS or Kubernetes)
  • Solid understanding of networking, DNS, load balancing, and TLS
  • Familiarity with at least one programming/scripting language (Python, Go, Bash)
  • Comfort with on-call responsibilities and incident response

Nice to Have

  • AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer)
  • Experience with cost optimization at scale
  • Background with compliance frameworks (SOC 2, HIPAA)
  • Contributions to infrastructure tooling or open-source projects
