Senior UX/UI Product Designer
About the Role
We're looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to lead the design of user-facing products at Lit8. You'll own the full design lifecycle — from research and wireframing through high-fidelity UI and developer handoff — making sure every interaction is intuitive, accessible, and polished.
You'll work closely with product managers and engineers to shape the direction of our product, balancing user needs with technical feasibility and business goals.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end UX/UI design for key product areas
- Conduct user research, interviews, and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups in Figma
- Build and maintain scalable design system components and guidelines
- Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure pixel-perfect implementation
- Present design rationale to stakeholders and iterate based on feedback
- Advocate for accessibility and inclusive design practices across the product
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of professional UX/UI design experience in a product-driven environment
- Strong portfolio demonstrating both UX thinking and visual design craft
- Expert Figma skills, including components, auto-layout, and interactive prototyping
- Solid understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design
- Experience leading design for complex, data-rich interfaces
- Clear communication style and comfort presenting design rationale
- Ability to work autonomously in a remote, async-first team
- Fluency in using AI tools as a force multiplier
Nice to Have
- Experience building or scaling design systems
- Background in B2B SaaS or developer-facing products
- Familiarity with frontend technologies (React, CSS-in-JS)
- Motion design or micro-interaction experience
- Experience mentoring junior designers
